We have a commitment to the Landscape Profession in New Zealand that is realized by our role in education, fostering growth and innovation through teaching mentoring, and research. We have been continuously involved in teaching landscape architecture students over the past years.
Peter Rough held the position of Studio Tutor in Landscape Architecture at Lincoln during 1980 and 1981 and was subsequently involved in part-time lecturing and tutoring for many years.
Since 1999 Tony Milne has been responsible for assisting and/or directing studio projects for the Landscape Architecture Degree at Lincoln University and since 2002 has examined both the second year Detailed Design / Documentation and the third year Innovative Design papers. He has also taught in Lincoln University’s Landscape Architecture programme in Singapore.
Nikki Smetham has tutored both first year students and fourth year studio projects, and has been involved in assessing and marking final Major Design studio presentations. Mark Teesdale and Louise Spence are currently involved with studio tutoring for a third year design paper focusing on sustainable design. Louise Spence is also tutoring second year students in the core subjects of Site Design and Detailed Design. Jeremy London is currently tutoring first year students.
