Nikki joined r+m in 2009 and has over 22 years of experience working closely with planners, engineers and surveyors on commercial, retail, health, tourism and recreation projects and developments in subdivisions.
Over the past 10 years, she has focused on landscape planning, preparing landscape and visual assessments, and presenting evidence to the Council and Environment Court. For both large and small-scale projects in Christchurch, Banks Peninsula, Hurunui, Kaikoura, Queenstown Lakes, and Westland.
Nikki has recently been involved in the QLD plan appeals, a comprehensive development in Wanaka, reviews of irrigation proposals for ECAN, billboard applications, aquaculture projects, submission to the Westland National Parks Management Plan, gravel quarries, and dwellings in rural locations. These projects have involved the gamut of landscape architectural services including landscape design, preparation of landscape assessments, evidence and a continued role in project management.
