In 2017, Wendy joined r+m Wanaka (working between Wanaka and Dunedin), having spent the last six years in Dunedin running her own landscape architecture practice.

She is a highly motivated individual with experience in a wide range of practices, from design to landscape assessment, and has a special interest in spatial concept planning, landscape assessment and planting design. To deliver the best possible results, Wendy believes in a customer-focused, collaborative approach to design. 

Loves about her job:  The people and the land

Moves:  By walking, running, cycling, sailing, skiing, and black car

Drinks:  Coffee; ‘the elixir of life’, champagne, white wine, and soda water

Plays:  For fun - pretty much anything indoors and outdoors

Favourite spaces in Dunedin and Wanaka:  Otago Peninsula and Mt Aspiring National Park

Supports:  Local artists, writers and poets, and ‘Make a Wish’ children's charity

Listens to:  A wide variety of music - opera, classical, rock, jazz

Reads:  Mostly fiction/novels - currently reading 'The Ministry of Utmost Happiness' by Eleanor Catton
