Ben leads the newly established Auckland office of r+m and has over 7 years of experience in New Zealand and the UK. He returned to r+m in 2018, joining the company for the first time in 2007 as a graduate landscape architect, before going abroad to gain some experience abroad.
Ben returned to our shores in 2013 and spent the last five years in Auckland, where he worked on a variety of private and public projects. He has gained experience across multiple facets of landscape architecture, including design, building documentation, landscape evaluation, and contract observation and administration. Ben has played a key role in designing and delivering a number of complex projects including recreational reserves, play spaces, coastal cycleways and walkways, urban center upgrades, high-density residential developments, subdivisions, and educational and health care facilities as well.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys running, snowboarding, water sports, music, and getting stuck into the garden. Ben is currently Treasurer of the NZILA Auckland Branch.
Moves: Ideally by bike - either on his Cannondale SuperSix or his vintage Healing 12-speed
