Paul joined r+m in 2019 after becoming a Registered member of the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects. He has over seven years experience specialising as a landscape planner, with most of his experience being based in the Queenstown Lakes District, but more recently throughout most of New Zealand. Paul enjoys being brought into projects early on and working with Architects, Planners and Surveyors to create great design outcomes that seamlessly fit within their surrounds.
As a Landscape Planner, Paul has prepared landscape assessments for an array of projects including plan changes, the identification of ONL lines, small and large scale subdivisions, commercial developments, quarry extensions, water and wastewater infrastructure, cycleways, boardwalks and roading projects. Subsequently, Paul has presented expert evidence at council hearings as he has worked through the lifecycle on a number of these projects,
Outside of work, Paul is busy being a new father, renovating his townhouse and, when he can, running and mountain biking on the Port Hills.
