Sophie finished studying Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University at the end of 2019 and started with Rough and Milne in February 2020.

A very talented young woman, Sophie was awarded the Boffa Miskell scholarship at the end of her third year at Lincoln University, was the joint winner of the Peter Rough Award for the highest mark received in her Major Design and has represented New Zealand at the Junior World Orienteering Championships.

Sophie is passionate about creating spaces which express the cultural narrative of place and provide ecological habitat. She is excited to gain experience and learn more about the world of Landscape Architecture with r+m.

Outside of work Sophie keeps herself busy enjoying a variety of outdoor activities including tramping, bike packing, and orienteering, as well as drawing and gardening.
