After a 3-year hiatus from top-level men's basketball, the iconic Canterbury Rams returned to the Sal's National Basketball League in 2014. r+m has been proud sponsors of this local team since 2015 and enjoy sitting sideline at all local games with clients and staff. For the 2019 season, we wish the Rams all the best.
The Māia Health Foundation is on a mission to enhance the health experience in Canterbury – taking it from good to great. With a shortage of suitable sleeping options for parents in the children’s wards at Christchurch Hospital, this often means parents/caregivers have to sleep upright or in uncomfortable conditions.
In the new acute services building at Christchurch Hospital, Māia is bringing 60 fold-down beds for parents to the children's wards. r+m is excited to support this initiative and proudly donated one bed for parents.
From 2015-2017 at Shirley Boys' High School, r+m was a Gold Sponsor for Spartan Sport. Spartan Sport offers a wide range of sports including rugby, soccer, cricket, surfing and table tennis. Participating in the Spartan Sport program is mandatory for all Year 9 students, meaning they have to participate in a sport during their first year at SBHS. r+m was proud to be a sponsor of this great initiative aimed at encouraging boys to remain involved in a sport once they start high school.
As a bronze sponsor, r+m is pleased to join Villa Maria College in making their 2018 Centenary a very special event and celebration. We wish the College and Centenary team all the best in their planning for this event.
r+m has sponsored the annual Special Children's Christmas Party for several years now. This has enabled disabled and disadvantaged children in our community to attend this special event.
r+m also has the pleasure of supporting various other national and local events, organizations and individuals. These include Autism NZ, The Kids Foundation, Heart Kids, Cirus Quirkus, Kidney Health NZ, Going Banana Show, Fostering Kids NZ, Unicorn Foundation, and FESTA.
r+m was excited to support Bike'Vember 2016 and a group of Wanaka bike enthusiasts. This enabled us to strengthen our community relations and support a local event. We look forward to joining Bike'Vember in 2017 again.
